What is 2Checkout used for?

2Checkout is an electronic payment service (merchant account alternative) founded in 2000 that allows merchants to accept online credit card payments from customers in their home country and abroad.

How to integrate WooCommerce with 2Checkout

1. Download or clone the extension from Github. After downloading the .zip archive, open it and extract the folders twocheckout-convert-plus, twocheckout-inline, and twocheckout. Archive these folders separately as a .zip file.

2. Log in to your WordPress admin, navigate to Plugins and click on Add new. On the Add Plugins page, click on the Upload plugin, then hit Choose File and click on Install Now.

3. On the Plugins page activate the modules for ConvertPlus, InLine cart, and 2Pay.js by checking the boxes and clicking on the Apply button.

4. Go back to the Dashboard, scroll down to WooCommerce, and click on Settings. Under WooCommerce – Settings, click on the Payments tab.

5. Enable all three modules or the module you want and then click on Set up to configure each module. Click Save Changes.

Before Setup configures modules you have to log in 2Checkout and follow the instructions below.

How to setup 2Checkout Settings

1. Sign in to your 2Checkout account. Navigate to Dashboard → Integrations → Webhooks & API Section

2. In the Redirect URL section check “Enable return after sale” For the Redirect URL section, set the Approved URL to your WooCommerce URL For Return method, select Header Redirect / Link in Thank You Page.

3. Don’t forget to click Update to save your settings.

4. Make sure to enable the IPN webhook notification in your Merchant Control Panel.

5. Scroll down to the Notifications section and enable the IPN webhook. For the Payment notification type field, select IPN or Email Text & IPN, and then click on the Configure IPN button.

6. On the IPN settings page, click on the Add IPN URL button and input the IPN URL available in the configuration page in WooCommerce. Then Enable all triggers and response tags.

1. Enable 2Checkout Convert Plus.

2. Input a Title and Description for the module. (These fields control how your users will see the module during checkout.)

3. Your Seller ID is the Merchant Code from the 2Checkout Merchant Control Panel. Copy this code from 2Checkout and paste it into the WooCommerce platform. (Find Merchant Code by visiting Webhooks & API Page.)

4. To Input the Secret Key Copy the Secret Key from the API section and paste it into the Secret Key field in WooCommerce.

5. Secret Word is the Buy-Link Secret Word. Copy the Buy link Secret Word from the API section and paste it into the Secret Word field in WooCommerce.

6. Enable logging (if you want to log 2Checkout events)

7. If you want to create test orders Enable it.

8. Copy IPN Callback URL and On the 2checkout IPN settings page, click on the Add IPN URL button and input the IPN URL.

9. That’s it. Now Click on Save changes.

  1. Log in to your cPanel
  2. Find your site folder
  3. Go to Wp-Plugins Folder
  4. Then find 2Checkout – Credit Card by Convert Plus Checkout plugin folder
  5. Remove the default image and upload your own image. (Remember to rename your image to twocheckout.png)
